These Kien agarwood chips are a premium grade of natural Vietnamese agarwood, formed over many years through natural resin accumulation caused by insect activity on Aquilaria trees.
This slow, organic process creates agarwood with distinct structure, rich oil content, and a uniquely deep aroma profile.
The chips are typically thin and lightweight with a partially hollow interior, a characteristic feature of naturally formed Kien agarwood. Their color ranges from brown to deep black, with darker tones indicating higher resin concentration.
When heated over charcoal or an electric incense burner, the agarwood releases a strong yet refined fragrance, featuring a sweet, deep, and multi-layered scent profile. The aroma evolves gradually from top to base notes, offering a long-lasting and immersive oud experience highly valued by agarwood enthusiasts.
